For us, building is more than just a business, it’s something we genuinely love.
Gama Homes is a family-owned Melbourne building company led by husband-and-wife team Ricardo Pereira and Sonia De Gregorio. With Ricardo’s extensive construction experience and Sonia’s background in business and passion for design, they bring different strengths together to create homes that are both beautifully designed and exceptionally built.
Over the years, Ricardo and Sonia have also completed their own property developments, giving them first-hand experience in every part of the process, from planning and design through to construction and completion. This experience has shaped the way they approach every Gama Homes project, with a strong understanding of quality, value, functionality and attention to detail.
As a family business, we remain closely involved throughout each build and believe in creating genuine relationships with our clients.

Ricardo Pereira | Founding Director
Ricardo brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to Gama Homes. Beginning his career as a carpenter, he worked his way up to become a Site Supervisor for an established building company before taking the leap to start Gama Homes. With extensive experience across all aspects of residential construction, Ricardo oversees every project with a strong focus on quality, attention to detail and delivering exceptional homes.
Sonia De Gregorio | Operations
Coming from a corporate background, Sonia joined her husband at Gama Homes in search of a better balance between work and family life. She now oversees tendering, contract administration and interior design, combining her strong organisational skills with a natural eye for design and a genuine ability to connect with clients.
Sally Daou | Office Administration & Accounts
Sally has been part of the Gama Homes team for almost 10 years and is an integral part of the day-to-day running of the business. She looks after all things administration, estimating and accounts, keeping everything organised and running smoothly behind the scenes.
